Selecting the Best Photo

We want your portrait to be the best it can possibly be. To help you choose the most appropriate image for your selected design, we've created this helpful guide.

  • Well-lit with natural lighting

  • Taken at your pet's eye level

  • A clear headshot

  • Sharp and in focus

  • Your pet facing the camera or slightly angled

  • Blurry or Dark

    Ensure your photo is sharp and taken in neutral light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can create harsh shadows.

  • Taken from Above

    Photos taken at your pet's eye level yield the best results.

  • Screenshot Used

    Please provide original photos, as screenshots often lack quality.

  • Awkward Posture

    Photos where your pet is in an awkward position, such as lying down or looking over their shoulder, are typically not suitable.

  • Too Far Away

    Focus on capturing your pet's head and shoulders—photos taken from too far away are not ideal.

  • Missing Features

    Make sure your pet’s entire face and head, including large ears, are visible within the frame.

Please note, we cannot offer refunds for photos that do not meet the outlined criteria. Poor-quality images will result in poor-quality artwork. If we find that your photo does not meet our Photo Guide standards, we may ask for a different image.
